This is our TOTAL RISK MANAGEMENT SOLUTION utilizing group training and personal one-on-one interventions to assist employees with safety and lifestyle management.
The ultimate goal of our HMS is to create a culture of health, safety, and performance onsite at the workplace - thereby significantly reducing work related injuries and the need for healthcare utilization of the workforce.
To improve the overall safety, well being, and health of each worker (and the company as a whole) our HMS is administered by Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) who are placed on site at the workplace to assist employees with lifestyle management, symptom management, first-aid, ergonomics, and safety. These trainers are called OAT’s (Occupational Athletic Trainers).
HMS is our most intense system with the best outcomes and the greatest return on investment because of our unique behavioral modification component and one-on-one delivery.
HOW WILL WE IMPLEMENT THIS TYPE OF WORKPLACE CULTURE?
The Human Maintenance System is implemented through the following two phases.
PHASE 1: The Physical Readiness System Implementation
- The Gameplan for Aging, Your Four Quarters of Life Seminar
- The Physical Readiness System Implementation
The kickoff of the HMS begins with our Motivational Safety Presentation: "The Gameplan for Aging- Your Four Quarters of Life." This is an educational and motivational behavior-modification training seminar that, through years of experience and research, was developed to assist people in ALL walks of life. It is a meaningful reality check that provides participants with the knowledge and motivation to make a plan of action to benefit their personal well-being and safety. This seminar gives your employees purpose to take interest in their own health. Remember, if individuals are not aware of lifestyle management and how it can affect their aging process (positively or negatively), the health problems that may result can be extremely devastating and expensive!
During this seminar, the mechanics of the Physical Readiness System Implementation (a 10 to 12 minute on-the-clock pre-work physical preparation to improve balance, strength, movement, flexibility and awareness) will be introduced as well as the concept of the Human Maintenance System. In addition, employee volunteers will be given the opportunity to become Physical Readiness Coaches and lead the Physical Readiness System each day.
Physical Readiness Coaches will be equipped with the following:
- Biomechanics of physical preparation
- Proper physical preparation techniques
- Overview of the anatomy and prevention of injuries
- Group motivational skills and employee health promotion
- How to address those with limitations
- How to address reluctant participants
The Physical Readiness System also includes:
- Instructional DVDs
- Physical Readiness Posters
- Employee Handouts
